Heavy Duty Mechanic/Millwright

Due to an initiative to increase technical knowledge on one of our new state-of-the-art drilling rigs operating in Central Alberta and Saskatchewan, AKITA Drilling is hiring a journeyman heavy duty mechanic or millwright with extensive hydraulic knowledge. Hours of work will be 12 hours per day with a schedule of 7 days of nights, 7 days of days and 7 days off. There will be subsistence for non-camp jobs.
Successful applicants must have:
- Journeyman ticket and knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Interest in working in non-shop environment
- Be willing to interact and work as part of drilling rig crew
