AKITA Drilling Ltd. began paying dividends to shareholders in 1996. It is the current intention of the AKITA Drilling Ltd.’s Board of Directors to continue to pay quarterly dividends in the future. Nevertheless, the payment of any dividend is at the discretion of the Board of Directors and depends upon the financial condition of the Company and other factors. Dividends are eligible for Canadian Income Tax Purposes unless specifically indicated otherwise.
