AKITA Drilling Ltd. is a leading intermediate North American land drilling contractor with a fleet of 36 high-spec drilling rigs operating in major resource basins in Canada and the US.  We pride ourselves on building relationships with our customers and see every project as a partnership.  The technology and experience we offer with our technically advanced drilling fleet helps optimize our customers’ drilling programs.

We were among the earliest adopters of pad rigs, including their use in the development of heavy oil and shale gas resources.  This quickly became a market strength for AKITA, and today pad rigs make up approximately half of our deep capacity fleet.
